Well here goes, some updates about what I'm up to recently! :'D

I'm heading into my third month of my first term at university, studying business administration. My lectures have been going fantastic so far, and I enjoy all my courses and like the way my professors teach. I have two midterms coming up next week - Monday and Wednesday, and on Tuesday I have a 5 page paper due, which I already finished as of today. I'd probably go back on it to revise and make sure it is an A material; my last paper, which I spent honestly 3 hours on it the night before, got me a B+. I'm hoping that since I spent a lot more time this time around, my mark would improve.

For grades, I'm sitting at a B/B+ in my courses, with the possible A- for my economics class. I'm aiming for a 4.0 by the end of my finals, which might be too high of a goal to hit, but we'll see! xD I'm studying already for my second midterms and preparing my lecture notes and materials for my finals. I haven't had so much joy studying and learning for a very long time, and I don't think I've put so much effort so far into my schooling than I did back in high school.

I also just had a volunteer interview for our university's entreprenurship competition, and I thought I did pretty good during it! I get my results back this Friday as to which role I'd be assigned, and I'm crossing my fingers that I'd be assigned Team Coordinator, because then I could meet all the competitors and judges and learn what they're doing. Though any role would be fine with me, because I learn anyways from all of them. :)

As for work, we recently got our hours cut because of a new full-tie assistant manager hire, and we're in a slow season for business, but our manager reassured us that we're going to get more shifts once November / December roles around. This works really well for me because now I have midterms and projects due, so the less shifts I do really benefits me. I still really like my job, but we recently had a lot of pressure, because we were assessed and given performance reviews, and those who under perform (also in mystery shops, oy vay) would be cut, apparently. Fingers crossed I passed it!

Otherwise, I've started a business venture with a university student, and we're tackling sustainability issues in technology and finding ways to streamline efficiency with small start up businesses, which involves a lot of research on our part. In other areas, I've been part of a mentorship program, and my mentor is an aspiring entrepreneur, and has experiences in that field, so I'm extremely excited to work with her to develop my skills further.

Most of the art I've done were during stolen time, and just rough pencil sketches. I've taken to writing my novels recently since I have more access readily at hand with my laptop at school compared to my drawing tablet. Also, in between lectures, work, business research, volunteering, hanging out with friends, and planning for a charity fundraiser as part of our business class, I really do not have lots of free time anymore. Sometimes I wish I did, but I like being busy but still working within my limits and getting everything completed as best as I can!

Petsites I play now is just Flight Rising, and I just obtained a couple more lovely imperials and skydancers, and that's really all that's new with what I'm doing.

I'd probably give another update near December after my finals! :>
